RECOMMENDATIONS OF CANDIDATES FOR BOARD OF PBG AND ELECTIONS DURING THE ANNUAL MEETING OF PBG |

On behalf of the present Board of the Polish Business Group in the UAE, I would like to inform about the system adopted for nominating candidates for the members of the new Board of PBG, who will be elected during the Annual Meeting of the PBG. I also would like to inform about the voting procedures for positions of Board members, Group representatives and Honorary Auditor.
The election of new members of the PBG Board, Group representatives and Honorary Auditor will be carried out in accordance with the PBG Constitution during the Annual Meeting of the PBG, on Jan. 17th, 2009.
Members of PBG can recommend candidates for Board members until Jan. 14th, 2009, the latest. One can propose himself and/or other candidates (max. 4 candidates for Board members in a single nomination). The PBG individual or corporate members can be proposed. The proposals should be sent by e-mail to the Honorary Auditor of PBG (

) The proposed persons should be informed, in order to provide sufficient time for their final decision and preparation of a short auto-presentation prior to the voting.
The election of the Board members shall be carried out by ballot and simple majority of votes. The proposed candidates shall confirm their participation and present themselves prior to the election. Each individual member eligible for voting will receive one voting paper and corporate members representatives two voting papers, for marking their candidates for the Board i.e. 8 persons.
The new Board members will designate the Group representatives, Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer.
The election of the Honorary Auditor will be carried out by voting – show of hands by the Annual Meeting. The candidates for the Honorary Auditor shall be proposed prior to the voting.
